 | Freedom the Wolf is a story of friendship, family and the struggle for freedom. This heart warming & thought provoking tale of a young wolf named Freedom, chronicles his experience, coming of age in the world of man. As a cub, he was taken from his home in the wilderness and raised in a house with three dogs and their kind master. His K9 housemates distinct personalities and perspectives on life help the young wolf to understand the dichotomy of mans society. He soon struggles to finding his own identity in this world where his kind is feared and hated by both man and mans best friend.Through his friendship with the house dogs, Freedom comes to accept domestic life until his long lost sister finds him and reminds him that there is a greater existence beyond the back yard. He becomes torn between two worlds: the creature comforts of man that he has become accustomed to and the wilderness on the other side of the fence he longed to return to as a pup. Freedom's experience is essentially a reflection of our own human experience, in search for our identity, our purpose and ultimately our freedom. |
